Robert, best known as Bob, is the founder and owner of RDM. After earning a degree in Architecture from Princeton in 1970, he continued on to the University of Pennsylvania to acquire a Masters in Architecture several years later. He then began a lifelong career in real estate with the purchase of his first 4-unit apartment building in 1972. Recognizing the unlocked potential of the building, he added a penthouse floor to create a beautiful owner’s unit with views and a small parking garage on the ground level. After completing the project and spending a few years travelling around the world, he returned to enroll at the Stanford Business School to earn an MBA, and subsequently went on to work in commercial real estate lending at Citibank in the San Francisco Bay Area. He later returned to development in 1996 with the purchase of our North Point Building and thus starting RDM. Nowadays, you’re most likely to find Bob flying his plane through the backcountry of Idaho, enjoying the mountains of the West.
